Soap is pretty amazing! One end of a soap bit loves water, and the other end hates it. When you mix soap with water, the water-loving ends grab onto germs, and the water-hating ends break down the germ's outer layer, which is often made of fat and protein. To get rid of viruses and bacteria, you need to rub your soapy hands together for at least 20 seconds. Don't rush! Make sure you wash all parts of your hands properly. Regular soap works just as well as those expensive antibacterial ones for getting rid of most germs, including the coronavirus.

Soap and water are the best and cheapest way to clean not just your hands and clothes, but also things like door handles, dishes, coins, floors, and walls. Turn on the tap and wet your hands with running water.
Grab your soap (bar or liquid) and put some on your palm. 🧴
Rub your hands together really well until they're all bubbly.
Make sure you scrub every part: palm to back of the other hand with fingers linked, and then switch. 🤝
Don't forget the backs of your hands. 👋
Interlock your fingers and rub the backs of your fingers against your palms. 🔗
Give each thumb a good rub by holding it in your other hand and twisting. 👍
Rub your wrists by holding one in your other hand and twisting. 💫
Rinse all the soap off under running water.
Keep your clean hands up near your chest and try not to touch your clothes or body. 🙌
